Why Heirmark

What Families Value About This Work

Everything in One Place

When a family needs to locate a certificate or photograph quickly, a well-labelled archive saves time and reduces stress for everyone involved.

Gentle, Non-Intrusive Approach

Our sessions move at the pace your family is comfortable with. Nothing is rushed, and no opinions are offered on sensitive household matters.

Clear Labelling Systems

We work with practical folder kits, index sheets, and reference tabs so that anyone in the family — regardless of familiarity — can find what they need.

Family-Centred Format

Sessions are designed for the whole household, not just one person. Relatives across generations can participate meaningfully and leave with shared clarity.

Discretion as Standard

All materials reviewed during sessions remain private. We do not retain copies of documents, and all session notes are handed back to the family at the close of each meeting.

Educational Throughout

Beyond sorting papers, families come away understanding how to maintain an organised archive going forward — so the work continues to serve them for years.

Is Your Family's Archive Ready to Be Found?

A single session with Heirmark can give your household a labelled, navigable record of what you have — and where it lives. Reach out to find the right fit.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly happens during an inventory session?
A facilitator from Heirmark sits with your family at a convenient time and walks through a structured worksheet covering records, certificates, photographs, and relevant paperwork. We help you label and organise these into a folder kit. No documents are retained by us, and no opinions are offered on how they should be used legally.
Do you provide any advice on wills, inheritance, or beneficiary matters?
No. Heirmark focuses entirely on document organisation and family heritage archiving. We do not provide opinions, commentary, or guidance on legal positions, asset division, beneficiary rights, or any matters requiring professional legal counsel. Families looking for legal advice should consult a licensed practitioner separately.
How long does the Heritage Records Programme take?
The programme spans several weeks, typically four to six sessions depending on the volume of materials and the family's availability. Sessions are spaced comfortably so families can gather materials between appointments. The programme ends with a final printed heritage handbook assembled with the family.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are held at our Bukit Bintang office in Kuala Lumpur. For the multi-session Heritage Records Programme, some appointments may be arranged to accommodate the family's location within the Klang Valley. Please enquire for specifics when booking.
What do I bring to the first session?
For the initial session, a rough collection of the records your family wishes to organise is sufficient — loose certificates, older photographs, or existing folders. A confirmation checklist is sent to you after booking so you can prepare comfortably at your own pace.
What are the session fees and payment terms?
The Family Records Inventory Session is RM 540. The Heritage Reference Workshop is RM 1,500 per group. The Heritage Records Programme is RM 4,500 for the full programme. Payment schedules for the programme can be discussed at enquiry. All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit.
Is my family's information kept private?
Yes. Heirmark does not retain copies of any documents your family brings. All session worksheets and notes are returned to you at the end of each session. We handle all materials with discretion and do not share anything about your household with third parties.
