Three Ways to Organise What Your Family Holds
Whether your household needs a single focused session or a carefully guided multi-week programme, Heirmark offers a structured path to a clear, navigable family archive.
← Back to HomeHow Every Heirmark Engagement Proceeds
Each offering follows a consistent approach: an initial conversation, a preparation checklist, a structured session with a facilitator, and a physical output your family can use immediately. The depth and duration of each engagement is what varies.
No session involves legal commentary or opinions on household decisions. The facilitator's role is to guide the family through an organisational framework, not to advise on how the materials should be used beyond the archive itself.
Family Records Inventory Session
A focused short session helping a family build an inventory of personal records, certificates, and photographs they want gathered into a labelled archive. The session is informational and organisational only — no opinions are offered on legal positions, beneficiary matters, or asset division.
Participants leave with a printed inventory sheet and a small labelled folder kit ready to begin organising their materials immediately after the session ends.
- Structured worksheet covering records, certificates, photographs
- Labelled folder kit provided at the session
- Single household, one to two hours duration
- No documents retained by Heirmark
Heritage Reference Workshop
A small-group workshop helping families assemble a shared printed reference of where family records, photographs, and keepsakes live. The session focuses on labelling, reference indexing, and family clarity — not on opinions about specific household matters.
Participants leave with a working draft binder and a labelled cover sheet that serves as the household's shared reference point going forward.
- Working draft binder produced during the session
- Labelled cover sheet with reference index
- Small-group format — up to six family members
- Suitable for families with materials across multiple members
Heritage Records Programme
A multi-session programme guiding a family through a thoughtful organisation of long-term heritage records — photographs, letters, certificates, and family reference materials. Covers inventory, label design, scanning checklists, family-meeting agenda templates, and a final printed heritage handbook.
The programme proceeds gently over several weeks, accommodating the natural pace of family life. It is educational and archival in scope and does not include opinions on legal matters.
- Final printed heritage handbook — a lasting family archive
- Scanning checklists for independent digital backup
- Family-meeting agenda templates included
- Covers photographs, letters, certificates, and keepsake reference
- Payment schedule available

Protocols Common to All Engagements
No Document Retention
All materials reviewed during any Heirmark session are returned to the family at its close. Nothing is retained, scanned, or stored by Heirmark.
Strictly Educational Scope
Every engagement is confined to document organisation and family archiving. No legal, financial, or advisory opinions are offered under any circumstances.
Responsive Enquiry Handling
All session enquiries receive a response within one working day. If the first offering discussed is not a suitable fit, we will say so and suggest a better alternative.
Unhurried Facilitation
No session is rushed to fit a commercial agenda. Facilitators work at the pace the family sets, with flexibility built in for participants who need breaks or additional time.
PDPA-Compliant Data Handling
Enquiry and booking details are handled in compliance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. We do not pass client information to third parties.
Archival Material Handling
Facilitators follow standard archival handling practices for older, fragile, or delicate papers and photographs. Materials are treated with the care they deserve.
